Brazilian Challenge Day 92: Another Day at the Park

Sunday seems to be “park day” in Sao Paulo. Today we tested out a new locale – Parque do Cordeiro in Santo Amaro.

This little neighborhood park has almost everything a family could want for fun. A bike path for the little ones, plenty of play equipment, even a skateboard park and a mini auditorium.

A good place to spend a couple hours on a Sunday afternoon. And nothing but Brazilians! (Except for me.)

  1. Oh, parks! I so miss them.

  2. Alex says:

Jennifer, you basically live in a park (wait, is the Amazon close to you? I forget, some parts of Rondonia are Amazon and others are not..)

Nice Park….And Sao Paulo is just such a massive city from every angle! Highrises under construction everywhere, right?

    • Yes. Construction everywhere. WARNING. WARNING. WARNING.

      • Alex says:

I love construction! I will be the biggest developer (environmentally friendly) in Brazil one day 😉 But in the meantime, I’m going to work for JHSF ( they built Cidade Jardim and are developing lots of luxury projects throughout the country. You know, if I ever actually freaking set foot in Brazil.

What do you think?
